Ingebjørg Lognvik Reinholdt

Ingebjørg Lognvik Reinholdt er ein allsidig folkesongar kjend for si varme, klare stemme, sin rike kunnskap om tradisjonen og kulturhistoria vår, og si forteljarevne.  Ho har laga forestillinga «Songen om Guro Heddelid» for Riksscenen, turnert for store og små i DKS med vokalduoen Fivil, og vore utøvende kvedar (som det heiter i Telemark) sidan 9-årsalderen.  Ho forvaltar tradisjonen etter blant andre Agnes Buen Garnås, Ragnar Haugstøl og Sondre Bratland. 

Ingebjørg er i tillegg til å vere solo kvedar, aktuell med vokaltrioen Aurom og bandet Reitir, med Aasmund Nordstoga og den skotske felespelaren Sarah Jane Summers. Soloplata hennar «Klokkur som ringjer deg heim», med tradisjonssongar frå Seljord, kom ut i 2020 på plateselskapet Talik. Ho har også komponert bestillingsverket «Gullmannen» for Telemarkfestivalen i 2019, og laga og framført soloforestillinga «Åsmund Fregdegjeva» basert på balladen med same namn i 2022. 

Ingebjørg var også programleiar og musikalsk ansvarleg på dokumentaren "Draumkvedet - ein thriller frå mellomalderen" som premierte på NRK mai 2024. 

Ingebjørg har også vore fast folkesongar på det magiske Marispelet ved Rjukanfossen kvar sommar sidan 2018.

ENGLISH BIO

Ingebjørg Lognvik Reinholdt is a norwegian folk singer known for her warm, clear voice and love of storytelling through song. She grew up in the small village Seljord in Telemark, surrounded by mountains and a lake with a fabled sea serpent. There she learned local folk songs from the local bus driver Ragnar Haugstøl, from the age of 7. She was the only folk singer in Seljord under 50 her whole upbringing.

From then on she has sung folk songs and other songs for kings and kindergarten kids, on theatre stages, with bands like Reitir and Jul i Nord, been in the vocal duo Fivil and now the trio Aurom. But she always comes back to the roots, performing alone with a song and a story that has stood the test of time.

Ingebjørg is educated in cultural history and folk music at the University of South-East Norway, and has a masters in performance from The Norwegian Academy of Music. She also loves having seminars and teaching sessions from everyone from beginners to her fellow folk music nerds.
