Tone Ingvaldsen

Tone Ingvaldsen har eit stort danserepertoar innen bygdedansar, runddans, turdans og songdans frå heile landet. Med oppvekst frå nord er det likevel Nordlandspolsen og anna nordnorsk dans som står hjartet nærast.

Ho skapar eigne prosjekter, og er for tida aktuell med Alo - Frijazz og folkedans. 

Tone er òg dansar i Kartellet dansekompani, og jobbar på produksjonar som Danse Staur, Danse Staur, An Dran Drin Drekt og Village Party. 

I tillegg jobbar ho med ein rekke prosjekter, og var mellom anna å sjå på Folkorgs 100-års jubileum i Grieghallen hausten 2023.

Ein stor del av Tones motivasjon handlar om å føre vidare tradisjonane til komande generasjonar. Ho ynskjer at så mange som mogleg skal få sjå og oppleve folkedansen.

I 2023 mottok Tone Statens Kunstarstipend for yngre, nyetablerte folkekunstarar.

Tone Ingvaldsen has a broad repertoar of Norwegian traditional dances from all over the country. However, she grew up in Bodø in the north of Norway, and is therefore extra passionate about the northern Norwegian traditions like Nordlanspols. 

She creates her own performances and is currently relevant with the project Alo - free jazz and folk dance. 

Tone is also a dancer in Kartellet dance company, and works on productions like Dance Stag, Dance Stag, An Dran Drin Drekt and Village Party. 

In addition whe works on other projects, and was for example a part of Folkorgs 100-years celebration in Grieg-hallen in Bergen in the fall of 2023. 

A big part of Tones motivation is about passing the traditional dance on to the coming generations. She also wants as many an possible the opportunity to see and experience folk dance.
